The Asko HID925MC is a current induction cooktop. The touch control panel on the HID925MC fails less often than owners assume; more often the call is restricted ventilation under the cooktop causing the generator to overheat, well before any coil actually fails. The HID925MC signals a problem through F00 through F9, plus FC, F99, FA and FAN -- the HI1655M generator's own problem set, distinct from the E/Er family used on other Asko hobs. Asko has never listed this category for sale in the US; the HID925MC is drawn from the Australian range and reaches an American kitchen as an import or through a specified European build.
Get the model of the HID925MC straight first, because Asko induction hobs speak two code languages that never share a word — F00, F0–F6, F7, F8, F9, F99, FA and FAN on one generator, Er03, E2, E3, E5, E6, U400 and Er47 on the other. A wrong-family reading sends the repair to the wrong part.
