Cooktop model families
Asko calls its cooktops hobs, and builds them as induction (HI prefix), gas (HG prefix), and combined Duo Fusion units that pair induction zones with a Volcano wok gas burner. Bridge Induction links two zones into one for oversized pans. These hobs are not sold new in the US and are serviced as earlier-distribution or imported units.
Reading the plate
A hob’s rating label is on the underside of the glass unit or in its fitting paperwork, listing the Model, the Serial, and the Art. No. The Art. No. matters most for glass panels and induction modules, which the catalogue tracks by that number.
Servicing your model
Take down the full plate before you arrange a visit, and note whether the hob is induction or gas, since the diagnosis differs sharply.
